When someone you love is struggling, uncertainty can feel overwhelming. You don’t have to navigate this alone.
You Don’t Have to Carry This Alone
A confidential conversation can help you understand what support looks like for your loved one and for you.
Addiction affects more than one person. At Xolani, families and loved ones are supported as part of the recovery process, with clarity, education, and guidance at every stage.
Our role is to help families understand what’s happening, what treatment involves, and how to support recovery without carrying the responsibility alone.
Family involvement at Xolani is thoughtful and intentional. Participation is guided by clinical appropriateness, client consent, and respect for boundaries.
During treatment, families can expect:
Xolani offers Family Education Nights designed to help loved ones better understand addiction, recovery, and how to support progress without enabling or overfunctioning.
These sessions provide Practical education, space for questions, and guidance on healthy communication and boundaries. Families are supported with information, not pressure.
Family involvement may look different depending on the level of care.
During Partial Hospitalization (PHP), treatment is more intensive, and families may receive more frequent updates, education, and guidance as stabilization occurs.
During Intensive Outpatient (IOP), support often shifts toward reinforcing structure, communication, and long-term recovery planning while clients continue daily routines.
In both cases, family involvement is guided, respectful, and clinically appropriate.
Recovery doesn’t happen in isolation. Families are actively involved throughout treatment. Family support includes:
It’s common for someone struggling to feel uncertain or resistant about treatment. Our team has experience helping families navigate these conversations with care and dignity.
We provide guidance on how to approach conversations, what language can help reduce defensiveness, and how to support change without confrontation.
You don’t need to have all the answers. We can help you think through the next steps.
No. Families can reach out for guidance, education, and support even if their loved one is not yet ready for treatment.
Family involvement is encouraged when appropriate and helpful. Education, guidance, and communication are tailored to each situation.
That’s common. Xolani helps families learn how to communicate concerns clearly and calmly, without escalating conflict.
We help families understand boundaries, accountability, and healthy support so recovery is reinforced rather than undermined.
Families receive continued guidance during treatment and optional support during early recovery, including transitions between levels of care.
You don’t need to know what to ask.
You don’t need to be ready for treatment.
You don’t even need to choose Xolani.
Reach out for any reason, questions, guidance, or help finding the right next step. You’ll speak with a real person, and the conversation is always free.
